In September 2002 I topped 12 st 2 lbs, and wasn't at all comfortable with the way I looked or felt. Over the previous few years I had gradually put on 2 stone... It was time for a big change!


Originally I wanted to lose some weight to look good at a presentation in November 2002. All my old school friends would be there, so I enlisted Anthony's help and dropped a stone in weight. Boy did they get a shock when they saw me!

After maintaining my new weight, In 2004 I was back for another go! I contacted Anthony again, revised my diet as instructed, and hit the weights to smash all my personal records. Soon I was seeing 10 st 2 lbs on the scales, signifying a 2 stone loss!

Now, in April 2005, with a summer holiday to France looming, the goal is to be strutting the beach in a bikini by the end of May. So again, Anthony was called in and at the time of writing, I'm currently at an all time low of 9 st 11 lbs!

I enjoy the challenge of my workouts, and the satisfaction of getting gradually stronger, and I always feel good at the end of a day when I know I've done well. Don't get me wrong, I have slipped up a few times along the way, but the most valuable thing Anthony has taught me to date is to make it a lifestyle. Treat yourself once in a while, but don't go overboard.

Weight is 15 st 3 lbs, up from 14 st 7 lbs. Ive put on size all over and reached my press up and pull up total. Sit ups are nearly there too! I did my run today and I got 37 mins 43 secs which is good, considering my time for the 4 miler was 53 minutes which was pretty bad!

On Saturday I celebrated by buying a small sized t-shirt (now officially an ex-large bloke) and my first pair of 28" waist jeans since, ooooh, 1991-ish. My belt is on it's last notch too, but as I now go "in" at the waist, I guess I'll be ditching that along with those old 36" jeans!

Everyone I know has commented on an increase in size and I've had to invest in a larger wardrobe. I've added a fair bit of weight to all of my exercises and I can nearly deadlift my own bodyweight! I've learnt a lot about diet and nutrition as well as muscle groups and overall fitness, my achievements so far have only made me motivated to achieve more!

When I started this course I weighed in at just over 13 stone and my waist was 40". 12 weeks later and I'm just under 12 1/2 stone and a 36 1/2" waist. In this time I have noticed excellent improvements in strength and I'm now lifiting much heavier weights. I have made great progress in a short space of time.

Thanks for the first 12 weeks. I've gained 14 lbs of bodyweight and increased my biceps by 1½ inches, and I feel and look bigger, yet trimmer than when I started. I'm starting to get muscles in places where I didn't even realise you could get them! Before I started I was very wary of eating so much for fear of putting excess fat on, and my weights routine was not working me hard enough (I can see that now), but now feel I have a much better understanding and control in gaining lean muscle, so thanks again!

I asked Anthony for a routine to get me lean and defined, specially round my abs. I've achieved just that over 12 weeks having lost 9lbs and nearly 2" from my waist. I saved time in the gym with Anthony's routine too. The training is great value for money, but I now need to spend on some new trousers that fit!

I am very pleased that my son introduced you to me. I have reduced my weight to 74.1kg from 86.2 kg (in 3 months a reduction in weight of 9.5kg) and more pleasingly reduced my waistline by 4¼ inches. I would still like to reduce my waist a further ¾ inch to 32 inches as there is still a very small amount of fat. It is great though to be 48 with a six pack!
